Akshay Rao

Akshay is a PhD student in Environmental Engineering at Stanford University and holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. He is interested in systems engineering and optimization at the energy-water-carbon nexus. His current work involves developing cost-optimization models and analyses for electrified and solar-powered desalination processes.
