Caroline Adkins

Caroline is an incoming first year PhD student with interests in water, sanitation, and public health.  Her previous work in the Datta Lab at Princeton University explored the capacity of superabsorbent polymers to serve as miniature water reservoirs in agricultural soils.  At Stanford, she hopes to work more directly with water supplies at the process level, particularly with respect to improving energy efficiency in desalination systems.
