Gina Kittleston
Gina’s research focuses on system-scale modeling of urban water supply planning under deep uncertainty due to climate change. She is investigating the impact that demand curtailment orders may have on Santa Barbara’s water supply planning flexibility when faced with drought conditions. Additionally, with the Stanford Sustainability Accelerator, she is deploying the PLANWater model as a modular Python library able to be generalized to new sites. As a demonstration of this library, PLANWater will be deployed in the county of San Luis Obispo. In her free time, she enjoys baking, hiking, and volunteering at the Nine Lives cat shelter!
