Nitish Sarker
Nitish Ranjan Sarker received his Ph.D. in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto and is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University. He supports the design, execution, and evaluation of an industrial, agricultural, and water FlexHub demonstration pilot project, with additional focus on developing data-driven decision-support tools for sustainable water and energy systems. His work integrates experimental and pilot-scale data into technoeconomic modeling frameworks to guide system design and policy. His previous work spans off-grid desalination, oil-water separation, and distributed water quality monitoring, with field-based applications and capacity-building efforts across Mexico, Kenya, Bangladesh, India, and France, supporting sustainable development goals.
