Water System

Planning

Software for planning activities such as robust, cost-optimal water portfolios based on process models or siting wastewater systems.

Operational Flexibility

Physics-informed models and cost and emission optimization tools for decision making in water-energy system operation.

Previous Projects

The following projects remain accessible, without active maintenance.

COALS Controls

The COntaminant behavior in Air Liquid and Solid Controls model is software that our group has developed to model the partitioning of trace elements to the air, liquid, and solid phases at U.S. coal fired power plants.

WaterAHEAD

The Water Associated Health and Environmental Air Damages model is software that our group has developed to estimate the air emission externalities associated with water treatment.
