COALS Controls

The COntaminant behavior in Air Liquid and Solid Controls (COALS Controls) model is software that our group has developed to model the partitioning of trace elements to the air, liquid, and solid phases at U.S. coal fired power plants. In our own work, the COALS Control model has been used in Sun et al. ES&T 2019 and Gingerich et al. Energy Policy 2019 papers. This work was supported by the U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory and the U.S. National Science Foundation. Please send us feedback on this model at coals.controls@gmail.com and cite your use of model as DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/6RFE8.
The models and its underlying data is published through the Open Science Foundation at COALS Controls.
